MAURO NEGRI

A precocious talent and on several occasions still very young in competitions and critical referendums, Mauro Negri has not done, over the years, that confirms
expectations, with a musical career that has seen him shine, with his energetic and personal language, Both clarinet and sax. In addition to the well-known
long-term collaboration with Enrico Rava, with whom he recorded 3 Cds, he played and recorded with some of the most representative names in the world
jazz scene: Richard Galliano, Kenny Wheeler, Billy Cobham, Albert Mangesldorff, Lee Konitz, Sal Nistico, Tony Scott, Steve Lacy, Paul Jeffrey, Eliot Zigmund, Jimmy Cobb, Gato Barbieri, Henri Texier, Adam Nussbaum, Natalie Cole, Enrico Pieranunzi. In addition to his activity as a leader, with numerous Cds published, and a very demanding side-man, he is well known and esteemed as a lecturer (holds the chair for “Jazz Music” and Saxophone “Jazz” at the conservatory of Mantua and published the method “Master in clarinet in Jazz” published by BMG Ricordi).


MICHELE FRANZINI

Pianist, composer and arranger of strictly jazz matrix, has carried out professional practice collaborating with formations of high level and different areas, having the opportunity to express themselves in a wide variety of situations, from traditional jazz to free improvisation, from the duo to the big band, playing in the main jazz clubs and festivals in Italy and abroad, until it was reported for several consecutive years by some critics as “best new talent” in the annual referendum of the magazine “Jazz Music”. Also dedicated to the use of electronic keyboards and computer music, he was listed among the best electric pianists in Italy at the “Jazzit Award 2010”. The concert activity and the recording room for the recording of numerous Cds for important independent labels, have seen him engaged alongside many musicians, Italian and international, including Ralph Alessi, Fabrizio Bosso, Paula Santoro, Emanuele Cisi, Andrea Dulbecco, Greg Osby, Tino Tracanna, Tiziana Ghiglioni, Lee Konitz, Piero Leveratto, Rudy Royston, Brian Lynch, Massimo Manzi, Francisco Mela, Mauro Negri, Larry Schneider.
