If there is a territory that boasts the most concentration of DOP, DOC or DOCG products, as well as various awards, this is definitely Tuscany, and in particular the Province of Siena, and not by chance. Prestige and quality meant that the very first denominations of origin in Italy were the Sienese wines: Brunello di Montalcino, Nobile di Montepulciano, Vernaccia di San Gimignano.
